Alecia Wartowski is currently the Director of Programs of Northwestern University’s Women’s Center. At the Women’s Center, she focuses on building a culture of equity and inclusion across identity through programming, advocacy and empowerment. She leads work to create racial justice and gender equity through dialogue, capacity building and coaching. Before joining Northwestern, Alecia served as a legal aid attorney in Chicago, providing direct legal services through Cabrini Green Legal Aid and Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. She has also worked in youth serving organizations focused on after school and community programs for girls and youth of color.
Alecia received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin, her masters degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
